I want to design very small 6V power supply @100mA

First i thought of microchip type transformer less supply but its unsafe.

other method is to use small transformer and switching regulator can tech guru's of this forum provide help regarding the design...... from scratch

use LM317 with proper resistance to get 6V

I think analog supply will be cheaper for 100mA current.....
