I got some low-noise adjustable voltage regulators to obtain different voltages. In one output need 1.2V but minimum output voltage of these regulators is 1.29V. I was thinking in put a voltage divisor with resistors to decrease the voltage but not sure if could generate much noise. Which other alternative could use ?

Re: Need low voltage

If in your simulation the voltage diference betwen 1.2V and 1.29V does not affect, let the voltage that the regulator gives!!

Need low voltage

hi

i think you must use "step-up" regulators.
see the National Semi site.

Re: Need low voltage

when there is no noise in the regulated 1.29V output and proper grounding there will not any noise in using potential devider. but when u connect the load , the resultant resistance will change.,
search again , u will find the LDO regulators with ur specification.
