unchannelized e1

Can someone explain what are channelizad and uchannelized E1 and what is the difference between them, please?
Thank you.

channelized vs unchannelized

unchannelized E1 is clear channel of 2.048Mbps with no framing convention.

channelized E1 is the E1 with slot 0 for synchronization, and sometimes the slot 16 for in-band signaling.

unchannelized

pretty much true and for your information in telecommunication mobile networks they normally use channelized E1s

channelized unchannelized

e1 on that use for a-bis interface a-bis interface use wiht chanelize status becuse it can use in chain for multipe bts

clear channel vs channelized

It basically is a way to sub-divide the bandwith.

clear channel and channelized

chanelized E1 are those in which Bandwidth is fixed i.e in A interface like 64kbps for each channel .

Non chanelized E1 are used in CDMA Abias Interface i.e between BTS and BSC , in which the channel bandwidth is not like traditional E1 64 kbps but it can be different ie 9.6 kbps for each channel

Chanelized E1 30 channel * 64kbps = 2.4 Mbps
Non Chanelized E1 192 channel * 9.6 = 2.4 Mbps
