lowest power microcontroller

Hi, Who knows the lowerst cost microcontroller with internal RC and low power. Sleep 5 uA and below !!!. Need some 6 I/O pins.

Don't want to hear:

Microchip
TI
Renesas
Atmel

Added after 28 minutes:

Before you reply. Low cost is in my eyes: 20 - 30 USD cents !!!

lowest cost lowest power microcontroller

How many Million pieces / year?
You named all the candidates willing to approach your 30 cents in VERY HIGH VOLUME.
You could have a look at the LPC901/2/3 from Philips and you will most likely get a quote similar to the smalles ATTiny or the PIC10xxx.
AFAIK ( and I do know this market really well) there are no 20-30 cent 8-bit or higher products if you volume is below 1 Mio / year. Even at 1 Mio 30 cent is very tough to get.

If you would like to share the application may be somebody has an idea.

lowest cost microcontroller

Hi Bob,

The Elan from Taiwan is about 27cents/100K...

Paul.

lowest cost microcontroller ic

I think ATMEL`s 89S51 is cheapest microcontroller. And also learning 8051 asm is easy.

what is the lowest power microcontroller

i think this cost not more than 1 - 1.5$. it consumes less power

atmel tiny 13a

Look here
**broken link removed**

MAXQ 16-Bit RISC Microcontrollers
May be it is useful :)

attiny usd 0.25

The cheapest microcontroller! But it depends on your application no one can go cost wise only.

cheapest microcontroller

Hi, Does not depend on Application. I asked 6 I/O pins, 5uA sleep current, about 500 instructions (FLASH/EEPROM). This application has one requirement and that is LOW COST.

Who knows.

regards,

Paul.

PS: Maxim is very expensive for you guys to know.

microchip 10F200 cost ca. 0.25USD for high volume order.

microchip is cheaper for there low end controllers

If you go atmel
There are two choices at tiny 15 and at tiny 13A

if you choose pic
there are a lot but to specify 12F675 comes to my mind

ckeck silicon labs for:
Small Form Factor MCUs and
OTP-EPROM (lowest cost)
