thanks a ton...

Hi
I don't know what is it but i know itis not middle value of integration.
regards

plz elaborate on middle of integration.

You have got the ansver as precise as your question.
If you want to get more precise answer you should ask the more precise question.
So do not ask for "elaboration" but describe in details what do you want to measure.

1. What is the wave? Voltage, power, acoustic pressure, velocity ?
2. How Min and Max are measured (is the method for both measurements the same?)
3. Is the measured wave cyclic?
4. Can you define the start and end points of time for integration?

hello AndrzejM.
1. What is the wave? Voltage, power, acoustic pressure, velocity ?
2. How Min and Max are measured (is the method for both measurements the same?)
3. Is the measured wave cyclic?
4. Can you define the start and end points of time for integration?

ans1:wave is current .(traingular )
ans2:i will integrate the waveform i will get some fuction y=f(x).
diffretiate & equate it to zero.
again differntaite to find where it becomes max. &min.
3.yes it is cyclic.
4.i cant define the start &end points.

well , maybe what i am saying wrong , but i think that it is the magnitude of the ac signal if the signal is symmetric about the DC level

i mean that the DC is in the middle between max . and min.

In my opinion after current integration (current changing in time) you will get a charge (measured in Culombs) and this is a scalar value not a function.

diffretiate & equate it to zero.

You can not differentiate a digit.
Can you desctibe the meaning of it?
Alternatively you should define the y=(x) .

3.yes it is cyclic.
4.i cant define the start &end points.

Try not only answer the questions, but describe what is the task.

yes sir.
i will give the complte details.
---> i(t)= is a traingular wave representing current.it is periodic with period 5ns.
it has a duty cycle of 50%,with A(general) as its amplitude.
--->if i integrate this waveform ,yes i will get a square wave represeting charge in coulomb.coreect sir?.
--->this square waveform i will call y=f(t).is it not possible to get its max.& min.value by differentiation sir?.
now i want to find (max.-min)/2 .this is what i want.

Sounds funny, my name is Andrzej (English = Andrew), but OK.

---> i(t)= is a traingular wave representing current.
it is periodic with period 5ns.
it has a duty cycle of 50%,with A(general) as its amplitude.
I do not know the definition of triangle duty cycle.
(What I know is the square waferorm duty cycle).
But this definitoin it is not a problem (at the moment).

--->if i integrate this waveform ,yes i will get a square wave represeting charge in coulomb.corect sir?.
In my opinion NO.
If at time t=0 the triangle current = 0 and starts to rise it can be described as : I is proportional to time . ie using math symbols y=x (if necessary you can add a coefficent A in front of X )
After integration y= X you will get (x to power 2) / 2
If you integrate the triangle , there is no simple formula for integration, and you shud calculate each part of triangle separately.
0-Max, Max - 0, 0- minus Max (= min) , -Max to 0
integration from 0 to triangle max = 1/4 of full period is parabolic (x^2 / 2).
For next 3 parts (you must integrate the full triangle) you should add 3 parabolas "upside down" and "mirored".
All 4 parabolas (for full period), will form something similar to sin
( but it only looks like sin in fact the curve shape consists of 4 pices of parabola).

May be it help you to solve the problem.
