what are the considerations in making pcb design

I finished the design of a circuit working on 1GHz frequency, and now i am going to build it on a PCB, I make one ordinary PCB (with non SMD or any special thing) but it failed 100% to get any results rather than transistors DC biasing :(

Then, I want to know the practical considerations while building a PCB in high frequency range..

Thanks in advance,
Ahmad,

Re: What are the practical considerations in making an RF PC

Take a look at these two publications:

"PCB Design Guide
Engineering high frequency applications at the board level using rf connectors"
**broken link removed**

"PCB Design Tutorial" - § High Frequency Design Techniques ..
http://alternatezone.com/electronics/files/PCBDesignTutorialRevA.pdf

Re: What are the practical considerations in making an RF PC

Hi all;

I want to ask about the same subject, but with different point of view. I want to know how i can model the different parts of my PCB ( Pins, Tracks,.... etc), and which model should i use, and how to determine its components values (capacitances, inductances). These models will help me to simulate my PRACTICAL circuit.

Thanks alot
Regards;

Hi Ahmad,
Can you attach a schematic and a screen capture with the PCB?
