opnet simulator download

I saw each software at willey ftp. It's soft, based on exeel+VB. This soft - is attachment to book about Queuing network.
try to use it.

I download it, but this file - at home, I'm now at work.

QTS Software
The QTS software is distributed by John Wiley & Sons, Inc in
connection with the book "Fundamentals of Queueing Theory," Third
Edition, by Donald Gross and Carl Harris. The software is available
freely from the Wiley public ftp server at
ftp://ftp.wiley.com/public/sci_tech_med/queueing_theory and is
based on discussions contained in the chapters of the book.

"The Enhanced Version raises some of the model size limitations,
for example, the Jackson Model in the Standard Version is limited to 10
nodes while the Enhanced Version is capable of solving up to 50
node network"

ns 2 works fine with network traffic simulation, i used it on my final project.
you can download it at www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns
by the way it run in unix OS

NetIQ's Chariot endpoint and controlller are also good. take a look at them, they are reference softwares for many test laboratories as well.

ns2 is pretty powerful ... i would recommend that .. but it wud be accompanied by a lot of background reading ... esp when the material is very unorganized and unclear at times .. good luck !!

However choosing the suitable software depends on your application, generally, i prefer OpNet. The current version is v11.5 and a free academic version is available (v9) online, you should register online to get your Username/PW in order to be able to download it (45 MB)
