Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to increase the available power gain of a LNA? How to design a LNA that can achieve highest available power gain at operating frequency?

Thanks,
Chun Lee

Adjusting the bias current and the Vcc of the active device can improve a little bit the Power Gain. Not too much.
Narrow band matching (if the design allows for this) also would improve the Power Gain.
For significant improvement has to replace the active device with a high power one. Probably sacrificing a part of the Noise Figure.

It's tradeoff between gain and power. In RF circuits, high gain always means high power consumption. But new technology may improve the performance.
