In order to solve the shape from shading problem ,one uses the smoothnes constraints, however this doesnot guarantee the integrability of the surface, hence ,one plans to use both the smoothness constraint and the integrability constraint with relative weights λ1 and λ2.derive the corresponding solutions for p and q.what advantage and disadvantage do u expect compared to using only one of the constraints.
