CAN-BUS on PIC18f458 ccsc compiler

pic18f458 can bus

I tried to configure the CAN-BUS-unit on the PIC8f458.
If I want to send a message to the BUS, only the Transmission-status goes to busi, but never returns to ready.

Do I have to do other stuff than put the message into the send buffer?
(something like flush it or set a sendflag)


I'm using the c-libraries from the Microchip-Website
