locating image features in matlab

There are lots of algorithm and methods for fingerprint recognition. Depends on your project requirement and your favour. You can read some books or papers on this, then decide a good algorithm. I'm using neural network, it's quite good too. Another popular method is minutiae based matching.

congrats !

In my cast too the core point is not accurate all the time.
But acceptable...
So continued with polyomial model
Am not training with neural networks...

orientation field + matlab code

hi all

I have implemented Orientation Estimation Code but I don't know whether the values are correct or not..
I am using Java(for reading and displaying Images)and C(for algorithms) for my implementation
can any one help me out how to check whether the values that I have got are correct or not?
also how can I draw the orientation Image as it is displayed everywhere?

im doing a project on finger print matching......
im using the same algo as u r using.......

but in my algorithm the orientation field is not working properly......

i will be highly obliged if u can help me.....

I have a fingerprint features ridge ending and bifurcation extraction algorithm but i don't know completely how it works......i m attaching here it may be of use to som1 and if som1 knows how it works plz share with me..

hie there..

im doin a project on fingerprint recog. too.. i have done with my matlab codes for pre processing n feature extraction ...but im stuck at the post processing part..where we have to remove the spurious minutiae points.

can anybody help me over here...my submission is soon n im stuck.
