Hi, I am new to powerPCB and have a simple question about manually layout.

I am drawing a pad with decal editor and now I am going to import it into my PCB design manually, also I want to make a "connection" with it and Ground plane. How do I make it in PowerPCB 5?

Thanks in advance.

Re: powerPCB help needed

You can make a connection only in ECO mode-> Add connection or Add route.

no, rs274x does not contain board outline (drilled contour) and nc drill files, they must be generated independently and you must generate drill files in standard Excellon vX.XX , that suitable for your PCB Board manufacturer. As a rule they always place info
on websites about gerber files and acceptable standards.

Re: powerPCB help needed

u have to first switch on to ECO mode and then select the ADD CONNECTION tool and than click the pads which u want to connec .
