I have a big problem: how to improve the efficiency?
It is possible that the efficiency of a switched capacitor DCDC converter is higher than the physical limit: eff.=NVout/Vin?
N: conversion ratio, Vout: output voltage Vin: input voltage.
many thanks!

I don't think so. Efficiency could be optimized in many ways, switches size, switching frequency. Switch/gatedrive control scheme is very important in minimizing the shoot through current also.

Yes, of course, you can improve the efficiency by many approaches, however, the max efficiency is less than or equal to the physical limit.
