need help on understanding this signal relay

It seems that it's ok the way you think it is.
 

It is the convention that the position of relay contacts is drawn in deenergized position.
 

yes,but not the signal relay,but the power supply relay! ,or dc relay

btw, what does it mean by "signal" here (a signal relay is different from a normal relay?)
 

Hi,
A signal relay is designed to switch low current signals and will normally have goldplated contacts. This makes the contact resistance low and the need for current lower and you can use high impedance signals and still get past the relay.

A power relay is made more robust to take the current when switching. Due to this, there can be higher resistance over the contacts, and the need for higher current to pass this.
