Anybody have any documents about the subject?

hi
i dont quite understand you, please elaporate more ???

i have uploaded apaper about induction motor control eith the following title

Introduction to Vector Control of Induction

on eda books board , search for it ,if it is not there post me

regards

I mean there are techniques to estimate speed with vector control. I wonder are there any methods to estimate the speed that fitsthe scalar control. Somehow easier or needs less computation or sensing signals etc.

nevermind, i think we were talking about 2 different things..

may be this page can help you :

There are application notes from atmel to be released soon:

Hi artem, i think you didn't understand me. I'm not looking for scalar control or vector control. I'm looking for speed determining method or speed estimation method that isn't complex as in a vector control technique that can be used with scalar control for slip control etc. for applications that don't demand very high dynamic response or which are cost effective.
