merge gds files

I got two gds file, they are the same from bulk to M3, while M4, M5, M6 are slightly different. I want to take M4, M5, M6 from file 2 and replace M4, M5 M6 layer in file 1, thus generate a new GDS file.

The tool I got is assura and virtuso, no mentor calibre, anyone knows how to do it? thanks a lot.

merge gds

first stream in file 1, then stream in file 2(overwrite M4, M5, M6).

Is there a small tool delivered for free on internet to avoid streamin/streamout :?:
Maybe a small tool delivered with calibre ? (such as gdscompare).
