What is the difference between AT90S2313.HEX freely downloadable from elektroda and AT90S2313.HEX from **broken link removed** ??? ( Of course exept 30 Euro 8) :wink: )

can you post the gerber files for your 'JTAG-ICE 2003'. this layout has atmel in smd-package. this is more easy to produce this hw by myself.

'*.hex' - target file

All for ATmega16(3)!
Setting AT90S1200(2313) does not need!

avr jtag eagle

JTAG at **broken link removed** work without AT90S2313 (need short pin XTAL2 U3 and X1 - JTAG_SCH.PDF).
AT90S2313 is only programmer on-board (for upgrade).
Need load upgrade.ebn (AVR Studio 4.07) over AVRPROG to ATMEGA16 and JTAG work - 100%.
*.hex file does not need.

All is FREE. Only assembled & tested ICE not free and hex file for upgrade, but ICE work without 90S2313.

Descriptions only in czech, but work with all version of AStudio, upgradable, AVR in range 2..6V, SMD & truehole design in Eagle 4.03 8O

convert .ebn into hex

Start program flash with upgrade.ebn (AVRPROG).
Stop programming before write lock.
Read hex file from flash 8) .

step 3. Stop after load and decode .ebn file
step 4. Make dump of memory .

avr icsp emulator schematic

These schematics appeared on the front page of www.avrfreaks.net a we while back. i too would like to kknow where the associated firwares are but then again, isnt that thing only $50 new and assembled - you'd save yourself a lot of effort. and the parts would cost atleast about $30 or $40 anyway where i live...

I've heard that Atmel has manufactured a new JTAG ICE with debugWire.

1. Can anyone explain me what is really debugWire ?
2. Does anyone have the schematics, firmware and so on, for they're new ICE (which works with USB)

download avr studio 3.53

I found that the AVR JTAG ICE (**broken link removed**) posted by kosta seems to be the best one. It is compatible to AVRStudio 4 and somehow easy to build.

where can i download avr studio 3.53

RN1 is a Resistor Network with one common pin and 8 identical resistors connected to this common pin. The housing is called a SIL (Single In Line).
If you don't have a 8x10kohm SIL Resistor Network, you can just use ordinary resistors.

Hi

I not see 1n4148 in this cricuit

My cicuit Not work !

when i try program with avrprog it erase and prgram it (and after program it i see on error in avrprog)
but after close jumper the avrstuodio4 do not detect it !


what to do ?

I made pcb of kosta jtag,after programming it with avrpr0g the avr studi0 4.07 does not detect it!
I have the same problem of "maziar"

please give some comments.
