Hi All,

I would like to know how is the array layout done for the MSB Current Source Array for DAC. For Example my Thermometer Decoder output is 63 96-bits MSB) which should be connected to the Array.
Is there any link which gives idea about how the array layout is done.

I am also using the double Centroid Switching scheme.

Thanks
Pradeep

DAC Array Layout

The layout for MSBs of current steering DAC is very important. If there are too many bits for MSB( more than eight), you can choose switches of several bits to do randomization. This helps to simplify your layou.
Try to find a paper with the key word "Q2 random" in IEEE for floorplan.

Re: DAC Array Layout

Thanks for the information abt the paper, which was very help ful.
