Hello Guys

I am New To This Forum . I Need Some Help In Getting Some Tutorials For Eplan P8. Can Any One Guide Me .

Re: visio electrical drawings

Which is the best CAD software for electrical drawings (automation, PLC) ?
Now I am considering EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical 2006, RS Wire.
Can you advise me?
Thanks.

1. AutoCAD ELECTRICAL
2. EPLAN
3. VISIO

I use AutoCAD Electrical and **broken link removed** to auto-generate PLC schematics.

Still Razavi's is the finest.

for purely drawing, AutoCAD is good. an open source tool Inkscape is also capable of electrical drawing.

Can Eplan simulate (electrically) contactors, timers, switches, relays... or it can only draw them?

you can user NI software which is originally called EWB ,the package contains " Multisim" which have a very good analog digital and MCU simulation . the package also have "Ultiboard" for pcb . NI.png
