voltage divider circuit

i have 6V AC and i want 5V AC . plz tell me the circuit for taking 5V ac at output and input is 6V ac

Re: voltage divider circuit

What is the power you need on 5V, or what is current consumption on 5V?
What is the frequency of your 6V AC?

Re: voltage divider circuit

If the frequency is the mains a transformer or autotransformer is the good solution;
if the voltage is a signal, a resitor divider ( even compensated ) is also OK.
If you don't want to load the circuit, an ooperational ( as voltage follower ) followed by a voltage divider is good.
