Hi :)

I have a shopping list; I found about 1/2 of what I need on Mouser.com

Where's the next best place to go shopping for caps and resistors?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Only half of your BOM is available at Mouser?
What "special" parts are you looking for?

Klaus

Hi

Sorry.... what is BOM?

This is what I need:

500pF CDE CD15 Silver Mica

0.0022uF Sozo NexGen or Mallory 150 (2.2nF)

0.0047uF Sozo Nexgen or Mallory 150 (4.7nF)

0.1uF Sozo Nexgen or Mallory 150

Nichicon 0.68uF electrolytic

Nichicon 47uF electrolytic

Hi,

You are looking for dedicated brand parts.
Did you look at the manufacturers sales representatives, distributors...?
On the manufacturer's internet site there should be a list.

Klaus

Ah, Sozo, Nexgen, Mallory are brands... ok, that helps.

Will do some googling, and get with the manus

In the meantime, are there any other distros like Mouser? Only other one I can find is Taydae in Thailand.

Thanks!

You are missing a very important capacitor parameter: Its working voltage.

Some of the parts may be already obsolete. For instance Mallory is now Cornell Dubilier.

try https://www.digikey.com/

I found the two Nichicon's in about 1 minute.

But as schmitt trigger said, you need to know the working voltage.
you'll probably also want an idea of the case size and shape, temperature range, etc.
There were upwards of 1500 different voltage ratings, cases, footprints, etc etc for the 47 uF Nichicon.

Also, there are a lot of capacitor manufacturer's who make a good product.
If you know the parameters, you can get the same capacitor from a different manufacturer.
