Pulse rating of wirewound resistors

Hi,
Why should the AC01 series 1W wirewound resistor have a higher pulse rating than the KNP100 series 1W wirewound resistor?
(the KNP100 series datasheet makes no boasts about pulse handling capability but the AC01 datasheet does)
The construction appears to be the same in each case.
