    Need help for ADS equation reprentation...

    I want to convert the output plot from dBm to mV

    But I don't know how to express exponential equation in ADS as Eqn
    I'd checked it out from ADS help, but only find the exp() ...

    P[dBm] = 10*lg (Po[mW]/1mW]), & consider Lload=50-Ohm

    For example: how can we express a^b in ADS Equation ?

    Please, help me

    Thanks !

    This table shows the relationship between Power in [dBm] or [Watts] and Voltage in RMS, peak, peak-to-peak for sinusoidal signals in 50-Ohm systems. http://wera.cen.uni-hamburg.de/DBM.shtml

    Re: Need help for ADS equation reprentation...

    Hi,

    My hint:

    dBm refers to 1mW.

    Now you want to refer it to the voltage on a 50 Ohms resistor.

    This leads to the question: How much voltage on a 50 Ohms resistor do you need to cause 1mW?

    In ADS help, search for function dbmtov()

    That is function pow()

    You can find a list of functions here:
