Hi,

I met up with a problem when I want to edit object properties while sweeping in cadence virtuoso.

Before sweeping the parameter, the edit box is right; but after setting the parameter sweeping analysis, I can no more edit the properties of the device and all the editable blanks are gone. My software version is ic 6.1.5. I attach two screenshots, one before setting sweeping and one after setting sweeping. Could someone please help me with it? Thanks!

If you are sweeping the "value" parameter of the instance,
then you are overriding any effect of editing those params.

If Cadence kept showing you those fields then you would
likely be misguided into thinking they had effect. Which is
worse? "Why do I change properties and they do nothing?"
is probably a question they could stand to have a few
hundred less episodes of, at the apps engineering front
end. And there you are.
