If you want someone to verify the simulator results you should post them and the schematic.
Btw:
I'm not a friend of simulating everything. I use simulators very rarely.
IMHO: For standard circuits (like usualky given in the datasheets) if you keep on the datasheet informations and application notes you have a better chance to get a reliably running circuit than after a simulation...mainly because simple simulators don't care about the PCB layout. And a suitable PCB layout often is very important for a reliable function, especially with SMPS.
