Hi, I would like to simulate a circuit with a particular diode. However a SPICE model for the diode is not available from the manufacturer. So I would like to create my own detailed SPICE model.
Does anyone have a good cookbook style reference on bench characterisation and SPICE model parameter extraction for a diode? Looking to quickly extract as many SPICE parameters as practical rather than get into semiconductor physics.

Sounds like you'll have to interpret the active behavior from the datasheet and set each parasitic variable in the SPICE model manually. It's a trial/test process.
