For the “CAY-16 J8” resistor (8 resistors on a chip), do you know if the resistors are where the “concave” bits are, or where the “straight” bits are?

...i was looking for the "pitch" measurement marker to help to tell us, but cant find that.

The datasheet says "CAY16" is "convex terminations"...but none of them have convex terminations...they are all either straight or concave

Looking at page 3, the land patterns indicate the connections are on the concave section for the CATxx series and the flat part for the CAYxx series.

You could post this in a language criticism forum. Hardware engineers know that the straight resistor array terminals are commonly called konvex. Apart from this point, I believe you have posted before reading the datasheet twice. There's everything in it, also the pin pitch measure "C". Other manufacturers publish suggested footprint patterns in addition, e.g. Vishay. Might be a separate document at Bourns.
