I am new on PCB Design. I want to learn, as I have no idea about how should I do my own designs, I am copying some existing ones .. So, I choose a Simple One, a Frequency Generator Module (XR-2206):

The PCB Layout at the Top looks like this:

and at the botton looks like this:

I am doing the design on Eagle:

But there are some components that I am unable to find them, could you help me? What do I do when I don't find the component in the libraries?

I would appreciate any suggestions .. Thanks

Hi,

What do I do when I don't find the component in the libraries?
Most of them are standard parts, like the pinhead connectors. I'm sure there are libraries for them.

But if you don't find, then do what is the most obvious (and already suggested in similar threads): draw your own.
Either by copying an existing part and modify it...
Or draw it from the scratch.
Sooner or later you need to learn this anyway.

Similar threads are shown in the box below.
But since your headline does not describe your problem ("missing EAGLE libraries" or "missing parts in EAGLE libraries")..the "similar threads" function can not work properly.
--> You will not get satisfying results .... and other users with "EAGLE library problems" won't find your thread.

all of the parts you pictured are fairly standard and ubiquitous
there are multiple suppliers of all of them

(how did you get pictures of things you don't know what are?)

the blue three place connector may be found in the phoenix connectors
it will not be blue, but it will fit - you'll have to do research to cross reference
from the Phoenix Connector website

the ten pin double row header is likely in the Molex section
and several others

the potentiometer is there too, i just don't have a place or it right now
likely bourns

likewise the power connector

it can be frustrating finding parts in the eagle libraries

i suggest you go to a distributor website, such as digikey, mouser, newark, etc
search for comparable parts in their search systems
if you know the electrical parameter and the pwb spacing of the leads
you can find comparable parts

i like digikey as my company has an account, they're search engine is pretty good
and for historical reasons, it the one i used the most.

One question:
Do you have a schematic for your project?

This is a very important question. Blindly copying a layout without the benefit of a schematic netlist, a mistake is very likely.

Hi,
If you have datasheet/ part no/manufacturer of shown component, you can create part in Eagle library.
What is the PCB size?? Hope this is 2Layer PCB. I am freelancer, using Eagle, If you wish i can provide you Gerber file.
