Could anyone please explain the difference of Incident field>>scattered field>>total field>>incident field in HFSS Software. Capture.PNG

Hello abidahmad2020,

The total fields are equal to the scattered fields plus the incident fields.

When you excite an incident plane wave or other variety, this is the incident field. HFSS then goes and calculates the total fields, and gives you the scattered fields by subtraction.
