hi,

I need to convert 0-5 V volt 50% duty cycle to +5/-5V > Data rate is 20Mbit per second. Is there any simple solution available?

Regards

Hi,

The first that came into my mind: RS232 level converters. But they usually are too slow.

Other solutions:
* fast comparator, rail to rail push pull output, supplied with +/-5V. Input --> IN+, 2.5V --> IN-, output --> out
* analog switch, SPDT. Input --> control, output --> COM, +5V --> NO, -5V --> NC

Many options, e.g. SPDT analog switch, depends on required output current.

Depending on how sensitive you are to things like power
and timing symmetry and channel count, this could be a
single "logic level" PMOSFET and a resistor load to -5V.
But hogs power half the time and transitions would be
pretty sensitive to loading.
