Hi,

I have a copy of the Razavi CMOS indian edition and have been looking at the cover for the past 20 minutes

So first of all there is a typo i think. The two inputs of the op amp clearly shouldnt be shorted, but even when they are not, does this circuit do anything? I'm just curious if that is a topology i have never seen before, it looks like the output will always be high since the inverting input is always ground potential.

Thanks

you're probably right about the two inputs of the op amp
note however that all other connections have a dot on them

as for the topology, its just cover art

i think you'll be better off looking inside rather than outside
