I've recently been having a problem with my headphones. The laptop recognizes that I've plugged them in but it still uses the external speakers and there's no sound coming through the headphones. I've tried more than one pair of headphones and it still doesn't work. Restarting the computer worked once but not anymore.
Laptop Modle: Lenovo 130

Hi,

It's not a problem of the Laptop.
It's a problem of proper setup... how your operating system reacts on plugging in a headphone.

--> look for "audio setup" of your OS.
