I was debugging the MP1584 module, 5v regulator circuit in the PCB.
I have attached my debug circuit below.

compressed mp1584 debug circuit.jpg

I have completed my circuit in breadboard and PCB also, but I was connected to any load below 2A.

It will produce the voltage drop and alternative output voltage.

Mp1584 specs : max 3A , i/p volt = 4.5v to 28v , my i/p volt = 12v

I need 5v output and less than 2A current

MP1584 datasheet :

can anybody help this problem...???

You didn't report the observed problem, just a vague question title.

Hi,

What is the problem?

Klaus

When I connected to load , the output voltage is dropped.

Hi,

Please try to give useful informations.
* I can't find information about voltage drop in post#1.
* Now we know that you are concerned about voltage drop. But we don't know how much (maybe I just didn't find it?)
--> A bit of voltage drop is quite expectable.

But "no load voltage" often is not useful. Most voltage regulators are specified with "minimum load". I recommend to use at least 5mA of minimum load (1 kOhm) to get comparable measurement results.

I see you used a breadboard. This is not useful because you usually cant fulfill layout considerations with a breadboard. Did you read and keep on "PCB LAYOUT GUIDE" section of the datasheet? It is essential for proper operation.
