Dear,

I'm studying on circular waveguides using HFSS. In the simulation, i set the waveport with two modes to be perpendicular each other.
When i plot the E-field vector, HFSS shows the field whose direction is not agreed to the excited mode direction. In example, if i turn on a mode in x-direction, it looks like some y-component is added to the E-field vector.

Can anyone reply for me why the incorrect result is plotted and how can i solve this problem?
i attached the simulation file on this post. View attachment 20190808.zip

Regards
