I was trying to import CDL netlist to Cadence 6.1.7 to generate schemtics. Reference library was specified and device map was provided. The logfile show that the symbol was found in reference library. However, the CIW window show a fetal error happened and the import was stopped:
*Error* ilGetString: arg must be symbol or string -nil
******* Non-recoverable error (no top-level or error handler)
******* Exiting program ...
ERROR (SPICEIN_GUI-25)： Spice In import failed or is incomplete. Check logfile 'spiceIn.log‘ for errors.
But the logfile just show symbol was found for the 1st device in CDL and it stopped there and didn't move on to the 2nd device in CDL.
Please help if you have some clue or encounter similar problem when importing CDL to generate schematic by Cadence.
