Hi

I am designing a double balanced cmos gilbert mixer for my project. Will all the transistors operate in saturation region? Amplitude of my LO & RF sigal is same. Do I need to bias them separately?

Thank you

Gilbert Cell Mixer has two part.
-Hard driven LO Chopper
All CMOS should work saturation region because LO signal amplitude must be high enough to maintain the functionality.
Lightly driven Amplifier
CMOS transistors should be mildly saturation mode in order to amplify the RF/IF signal without significant distortion.

Bias voltages have definitely to be separated.
