Hi, All,
In EIRENE test, "The equipment shall be able to cope with relative humidities of 100% for short periods, although the yearly average is expected to be 75%. The equipment shall also cope with 95% humidity for 30 days in the year. "
Though it requests 30days & 95% humidity test, it seems impossible to do so in the Approval Lab.
Is there any replacement test to do the test?
Such as in high temperature, and higher humidity, say 98%, only several tens hours test needs to be done, but has the same meaningful test.
Best,

Tony Liu

unless there is more you haven't provided, i do not read that as requiring a 30 day test.

it isn't impossible to do, it just takes up a humidity chamber for 30 days,

there are ways to accelerate life testing, usually by raising the temperature, humidity, vibration, etc
levels beyond expected exposure during use

i do not know of any way to specifically speed up humidity testing

You can change some parameters as, temperature or humidity, but only if this is not an endurance test.
"Endurance tests are used mainly to measure the response of a tested element under potential simulated conditions for a specific period and for a certain threshold.
Observations recorded during the endurance test are used to further enhance the parameters of the tested element."
So, only after the endurance test is done you can enhance various parameters.
