Hello,

I have a general question regarding to the difference (if exists) of these two terms.
In some papers, virtual antenna arrays is used to described the spatial convolution between Tx and Rx (mainly in signal processing journals), while in electromagnetic journals they use pattern multiplication as a term.
Is there any difference between these two terms? If so, what is it?

Thank you
