whats the meaning of spectral analysis and scalar analysis ?

whats the meaning of spectral analysis and scalar analysis ?

"Spectral" refers to the frequency components of a signal. So Spectral analysis means examining and understanding the frequency components.
"Scalar " means a quantity measure without a spatial direction component.

What such a comparison means is up to you to decide.
