How to Short Circuit a SIW slot antenna

Good day to you.

I am using CST-MWS to simulate a paper based on SIW slot antenna (image is attached). In most of the similar literature, authors mention that "One end of the SIW is made short circuit to produce standing waves inside SIW."
I wanted to know how to make that short circuit in the SIW design using CST-MWS.

You just need to put vias as shown on your second image. It is the same as for air filled waveguides: https://www.antenna-theory.com/antennas/aperture/slottedwaveguide2.php
Distance between via wall at SIW end to slot center is 1/4*lambda or 3/4*lambda. For simplicity and faster simulation vias may be replaced by metal walls. After your slot is radiating well, replace waveguide walls with vias and perform final tuning.
 

So no need to short circuit at the SIW end? Just vias will suffice as shown in Fig.2.
