Hi, i have a 12 volt mini air compressor that i converted to use with engraver,, evrything turns on but when i try to connect a speed control to it ,,nothing?? i have tried different speed controls and still nothing? any help would be appreciated

Not enough information.
What motor does the compressor use?
How is it powered (12V DC, 12V AC or is it 12V from a power supply?)
What kind of speed controller, what are its ratings?

Brian.

Hi,

And what's the motor current rating?

Klaus

its a 12 volt 20 amps it plugs into a cigarette lighter and i was using a speed control from a tattoo power supply that supposed to go from 1.5 to 18volts
