I2C signal floating issue

Observed signal floating in between signal.
What could be went wrong?
Please advice.

Is it 1.8V I2C? Which devices are connected to the bus? Are all I2C drivers using open drain output as required?
 

A schematic of your setup would greatly help. Those are not necessarily floating signals - the edges seem very sharp. It could be two drivers clashing.
 

Hi,

I rather think this rather shows a "short circuit" condition ... and not a "floating" condition.
(edit: just recognized that kripacharya already mentioned this)

.. and I agree with the others: we need more information.
