LTspice sim opf Synchronous 2 transistor forward

It looks like you have way more than two transistors in your “two transistor converter”. Are those inductors supposed to be transformers? Have you defined them correctly? Have you probed the circuit, or just looked at the fets and given up?
 

Try changing k l3 l4 1 to k2 l3 l4 1. Not sure if it matters but maybe worth a try.
