Need help to design Pi filter

Hi guys,

Most of the development boards has Pi filter at the input side, and they are using 10uf cap and 4.7uh Inductor. How they got those value and what is the cutoff frequency for the filter.

Unlikely. Referring to a specific board would be useful. I can just guess that you are asking about DC/DC converter dev boards.

Without specifying voltage, current, source and load impedance it's a pointless question.
 

Hi thanks for your reply here is more details,

Your Guess is right this is input side of the development board. Input is 12V/1A load is 3.3V/500mA
