My chip is low frequency operation under 1MHz clock. For the layout, if the automatically metal fills on my core chip, whether it would influence the chip performance?

Usually I select the option that the automatically metal fill does not fill onto my core chip, but this time I have to do it, because the current metal density requires. Thank you.

I doubt metal fills will bother anything below 1GHz.

I have seen weird things with metal fill, especially in analog. Just make sure to analyze the timing of your digital circuits post-fill, and for the analog either protect the sensitive region against fill or do it somewhat by hand (and perform post layout sim)
