Single Cell Li-IOn/Li-Po Battery Charger IC

We have requirement for the single cell 3.7V Li-ion/Li-Po battery charger with inbuilt over charge and discharge protection. And we also need the Buck and boost converter for the regulated output voltage ( 3.3V and 4V) at the output end. The input charger supply is 5V micro USB.

This regulated power supply will be used for ESP32 nodemcu and GSM sim880C. The SIM880C will required 4V and 2mA burst current on power up and nodemcu will be operated on 3.3V.

We came across with the TI BQ25606 Battery Charger IC, does this IC suits the requirement of over charge and under discharge protection with buck and boost converter?

Can you suggest us other battery charger IC with given specification?
 

Hi,

No, the TI BQ25606 does not suit the requirement. It has only one switch port. Search for a buck-boost power management IC. IC's in that category fit your application.
 

Can you suggest us any Power management IC with buck boost converter part ? OR
Is there any buck boost converter part can be used seperately with the TI BQ25606 or any other Battery charger IC?
 

Hi,

If i need to find a part, then I'd go to the IC manufacturers or distributors internet site and use their interactive selection guides.
They usually are easy to use, most up to date, with most information in a short time.
