Hi everyone in RFIC design field.
I am designing RF power amplifier (PA) using tsmc 180 nm, 1.8 V VDD . I want to compare performance of several power amplifiers in several recent papers using Figure of merit ( FOM) since it is hard to compare them directly using normal FOM such as PAE, P1db, freq and gain. They are all working at different freqs, process, Vdd, etc.
I want to ask if you know any FOM including mainly P1db and Vdd- may include other parameters . I wanna to compare performance of P1db at 1.8 V of my PA with other VDDs such as 3.3 V, 2.4 V, 3.6 V stated in other papers.I believe at higher VDD the P1db should be higher and it is not fair to compare them directly.
