Hi,

Many 25x128 EEPROMs are compatible with each other.
But without vendor name and "x" you can't be safe.

In most applications, yes. It depends which operation modes are utilized. Worst a case an application is reading the manufacturer ID and accepting to other chips.
 

Micron 25Q128A 13EC0 soic-8 used as BIOS chip

A - 65 nm
1 = byte addressability , Hold pin, Numonyx XiP ???
3 = Vcc = 2.7 to 3.6 V
So what is EC0?
