Hi,

I am currently designing a driver circuit for Piezo transducer to measure liquid level of a closed sealed steel container. I have used 1 MHz Piezo transducer with a resistance of 25 ohms at resonant frequency, 20 mm diameter and a capacitance of 2200pF.
The circuit works fine on plastic bottles, but the I am not able to get any echo on steel container.

Can someone suggest few ideas that I can use to make it work on steel containers?

The Input to the MOSFET is 10 pulse of 1 MHz pulse with 50% duty cycle and 5V level. The supply is of 5V.
