Hi, I have been using TMG39931 and trying to detect the gesture of an object from one direction.

While going through the datasheet I was not able to understand mentioned below table parameters

Register/Bit Address Description
ENABLE<PON> 0x80<0> Power ON
ENABLE<AEN> 0x80<2> ALS Enable
ENABLE<AIEN> 0x80<4> ALS Interrupt Enable
ENABLE<WEN> 0x80<3> Wait Enable

In this table Enable<PON> is only reading the data or Writing the data?
Any suggestion on this will be a great help.

Hi,

My recommendation: Download datasheets always from the manufacturer internet site.

--> They are the most actual datasheets
--> There you will find additional informations, documents, links..

It's all in the datasheet. Figure 44: Control Register Map tells which registers are R/W or read only.
